Ghost Recovery provides automated SMS messaging services to help customers complete abandoned checkouts at participating Shopify merchant stores. By providing your mobile phone number at checkout, you agree to receive SMS messages from Ghost Recovery on behalf of the merchant.
By entering your mobile phone number during checkout at a participating merchant's store, you expressly consent to receive:
Consent is not a condition of purchase. You may complete your purchase without providing a mobile phone number.
Message frequency varies. You may receive up to 3 messages per abandoned checkout: 1 initial recovery message (sent 15-30 minutes after cart abandonment) and up to 2 follow-up messages if you engage in conversation.
Standard message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier's plan. Ghost Recovery does not charge for SMS messages, but your carrier may.
You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message or emailing [email protected] with your phone number. After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message, and no further messages will be sent unless you opt back in.
For assistance, you may reply HELP to any message or contact us via email at [email protected]. If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program, you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance.
Messages you receive are generated using artificial intelligence technology. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated responses may occasionally contain errors. For critical questions, please contact the merchant directly.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
